It depends on your definition of mental illness. For example, a feeling of hatred and revenge from people who are behind this, or similar to those it has caused. They hate older men, such as a disease? Or fear of death or fire ants? A common definition of mental illness or disability would be more likely caused by brain trauma at an early age. However, people often have signs of disease, the pause after a traumatic experience can. Essentially depends on the matter, and especially the number of incidents relating to them. Even then, it's just coincidence.

Probably. You should read the book by Gabor Mate in ADHD. He believes that this disease, the result of an event in early childhood, especially one is that the parents could lead emotionally distant. Scattered Minds is called, but also have a link to a recent book he wrote that will help you better cope with the disease.

This may not be the same illness that her son, but the result is related and you may find useful.

Anything is possible. Abuse is taking its toll on your mind and your attitude to life. Remove the open air is always useful to work around so that instead of blaming all their own, and in general, because the attacker believes that there is nothing bad in itself.
